Mountains I Still Have To Climb

I have succeeded in a lot this year. From turning in homework to getting good grades (I didn't turn in a couple homework assignments though). I have worked really, really hard. I have been trying to have a good attitude this year and I think that I have succeeded.

I could of succeeded at more. Next year I am going to try to keep my grades above a "D" even though I only have a "D" once or twice. I will try next year to read a lot more. Try to be better in math! I am terrible in math. So I will try to be better at math next year.

There is only 2-3 weeks left of school. I have made it! All the way through my sixth grade year. I'm almost in seventh grade and I'm going to miss a lot of people, yes including the teachers. I have really enjoyed my seven years at Laurelville Elementary schools.

Should Endings Be Happily Ever After??

Do you really think endings should be Happily Ever After? I don't, it gets boring sort of like Nascar. In Nascar all that happen's turn left, turn left, turn left. So doesn't it get boring? See it's sort of the same for reading at the end of the book its not a surprise. What's going to happen next, they live Happily Ever after, they live Happily Ever after, they live Happily Ever after,and on and on. Boring, boring, boring!

Book endings should be all different! So then it would not get boring the other way around. Don't get me wrong I love books, but would you like to know whats going to happen for example, in a movie your about to watch, I would think not. In a lot of books authors write about Happily Ever Afters.............................we need to be on the edge of our seat(literally, about to fall off) and then as soon as the teacher closes the book and the students slowly fall to the ground, then they hop back up asking for more. Then the teacher starts smiling and says "there is no more, the book is over."

What do you think, should we have a Happily Ever After?

Or should we have an ending that is the total opposite of a Happily Ever After?

Or should books have all different endings?

Relay For Life

Relay for life is an organization to help save lives. I can't wait to help. Even though you just walk it'll be fun. I'm going to try to walk from noon to 7am the next morning. Relay For life helps people with cancer every where. I can't wait to be part of this organization!

Camp Fever

Are you getting it? I sure am, I'm getting camp fever. Sixth graders at Laurelville Elementary have been going to camp Oty~Okwa for almost more than twelve years, and its finally my turn! I have heard so many awesome things about camp! Have you catched it yet?

Camp Oty-Okwa is going to be awesome! At camp Oty-Okwa you climb, trees, and walls. You also go hiking,go through fat mans squeeze, swimming, and much, much, more.

Grading Students Blogs

I think Mr. McGuire should grade our blogs by................... Mr. McGuire should grade our blogs by seeing how often we post on our blog, (for example) we should post atleast twice or more a week. We should also be commenting on other students blogs (or Mr.McGuires blog) at least once a week or more.

I think that Mr. McGuire should also grade it on if we have correct spelling, capitalization where its needed, and your topic should make sense.

The Main Character in My Book

If I wrote a book, the main character would be brave, beautiful, smart, and nice. Her name would be Rose, because when people make fun of her name she acts like they're not even their. Her last name would be Artis. Rose would live in West Virginia but she ends up moving to Ohio. Her moms name would be Elizabeth and her dads name would be Josh. Rose is about to be in the seventh grade. Her friends would all miss her but when she moves to Ohio she builds so many relationships with friends she couldn't believe it. One of Roses old best friends from West Virginia ends up staying for two weeks. Her mom ends up getting a divorce and Rose feels like her whole world is falling a part. When she least expects it, all of her friends come through for her. This one in particular friend becomes sort of like a sister to her. Her parents get back together and her life is sewed together again.

Breaking Dawn!!!

I'm reading Breaking Dawn. Breaking Dawn has about two differen't point of views Bella and Jacobs. My favorite point of view is Bellas. The author is Stephanie Meyer, she is awesome at writing books( expecially the Twilight series!). Bella becomes part of Edwards family.........they have a beautiful baby girl named Renesmee, she keeps growing.

Bella has a really awesome power. It's not like Edwards', Jaspers', or Alices', her power is way more unique( but I'm not going to tell you what her power is,ha ha). I can't wait to finish because I want to read the next books.

If you haven't read the Twilight series you are missing out on a lot! It is one of the best books I have ever read! You should read the books........now I'll admit Twilight, and sort of New Moon don't really have a lot of action. Now Eclipse and Breaking Dawn have A LOT of action!!!!

Larger Than Life Lara

I HATED THE ENDING! The end of Larger Than Life Lara was so unexpected. At the end of the book something happened to Lara................................ heres one hint it had something to do with Joey Gilbert. I wish it would have been a happier ending! We still have know idea who Laneys mom is. If I could recommend any book for you to read right now it would have to be Larger Than Life Lara.

Achievement Testing!!!!

I do not like achievement testing! I did pretty good, on reading achievement test........but the thing is I didn't finish, I had like six more questions. I finished the math achievement test, it was pretty easy, but it did still have a couple hard questions on it. I think that I didn't finish the reading achievement test because it had a lot of passages on it. The math achievement test had a question there and a question here it was a lot easier. I do think I passed............both I am very confident I did.

Breaking Dawn

*Breaking Dawn is a awesome book! It is the fourth book to the Twilight series. The best book so far would have to be Eclipse. The reason Eclipse is the best book is because it has all the drama, the fighting, and romance. All the books are: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. I can't wait until I finish Breaking Dawn!!!

5. She wants to be in a play
6. She only has 1 picture of her mom
7. Laney and her dad share th attic up stairs as a room
8. Laney and her dads room is split ed by blankets
9. Her brothers are very rued
10. She buys the groceries
11. The kitchen has a stove and a sink
12. Only two of the stoves burners work out of all four
13. kitchen floor is a blochy red
14.when they spill stuff on it, it just blends in
15. In school she used to play baseball

Mr.McGuire is mean when he stops reading and leaves us hanging on the edge of our seat. When your reading an interesting book it's hard to stop. In my class we just finished reading Watchers Rewind. Everybody in my class kept asking Mr.McGuire to keep reading but he said that their isn't any more to the book. So everybody said their has to be more!

Nobody should fake read it takes all the fun out of reading. If people start fake reading how are you going to imagine the book in your head and actually enjoy reading? Reading is so fun!!! Myself I enjoy reading I do not fake read. You have to pick a book that you would enjoy, not something that your not interested in.

Have you ever heard of the Twilight series? If you havn't heard of the Twilight series then I feel like your missing out on a lot. I'll admit Twilight isn't really for guys but if you like, romance, excitement, funny, and sad books then Twilight is for you. The main character in Twilight is Bella. Bella is almost living in a fairy tale. Bella's very lucky, She get's to become a vampire! Bella has to marry Edward first before she becomes a vampire. The Twilight series is my all time favorite books.

Bella in my book Twilight went to Jacobs because he is having a little get together with his wolfe friends. So Jacob invited Bella. I think that since Bella went to Jacobs, Jacob thinks Bella likes him. Jacob kissed Bellla (or if you ask me made out with her), well actually forced Bella to. Bella's with Edward so Bella punched Jacob which broke Bella's wrist.

Something else that I wish Bella would do is forget about Jacob. He;s done nothing but bring Bella down. He's always wanting to be with Bella but Bella is Edwards. If Jacob can"t except that Bella loves Edward more than him and that theirs nobody else in the world for her well that's his loss.

I think Bella needs to marry Edward. Well Bella is marrying Edward but I wish she would do it right now!!! Bella you need to marry Edward right now. I know that you need time to tell your dad, and mom, but just forget about them it's just about spending the rest of your life with the one you love. You love Edward right? That's what I thought, you could barely even live without Edward when he left. Also don't forget that it's the only way if you want to become an vampire. Edward is the one for you ,you can take it another step can't you? You can't be scared or are you? Of course not you've pretty much already have almost died what is it now 7 times? You have been face to face with werewolves, and even vampires!!! I know your scared of what your dad will say but just tell him that you don't care what him or anybody else thinks because it's just you and Edward and even Edward's family.

One significant thing that happened in my book Eclipse today is.Today Edward went hunting and Bella made a break with Jacob from school. So now Jacob and Bella were in the garage cleaning off the bikes since they just road them. Then Jacob said to Bella some where in the conversation that they have like three years to hang out. Then Bella said Jake more like three weeks. So Jacob got mad and started shaking.

In my book Bella has a lot of opinions about herself, but there is one in particular I would like to tell you. Bella thinks of herself as not good enough at all for Edward. She might be right she might be wrong, but to me she is down right wrong! But then Edward loves her and his family told Bella that she was the best thing that has happened to him. Even though Edward is so handsome,beautiful,strong,fast, and very, very, loving does not mean Bella shouldn't be with him it just means he's that much more.

How I'm going to read the whole Twilight series is by. I'm going to try to read a little bit at a time, but yet still read a certain amount of time every hour. I think that this will be fun for me and very entertaining. I can't wait till I finish reading New Moon which I'm pretty much almost done.

How I'm going to keep my grades up is by. Paying attention in class, and by turning in all of my work on time. I'm also going to stay on task. Keep up with teachers when they ask a question so I will know the answer. I'm going to try to have fun reaching my goal.

Bella faces to many problems! OK, so first of all when this whole entire story started which was in the book Twiilight she did not have that many problem's. But know, oh know there is to many that I can't even count! So it all started when Bella was with Edward and his family playing baseball. While they were playing these three(stupid)vampires were passing by and they heard Edward and his family. as soon as they were about to leave this guy James smelled Bella. So then they had to kill James to keep him from killing Bella. Now in the book I'm reading, New Moon, Victoria comes back and SHE'S AFTER BELLA! Jacob and everybody else that's in the pack(were wolfe's) is helping to keep Bella safe. But the reason Victoria is after Bella is because Edward's family killed James, and Victoria and James were mates. So Victoria figured she should just kill mate for mate. But yet don't forget that Jacob and his other friends are wolf's and they're going to protect Bella. I recommend you better read this book.

On my online journal it was fun. When I told my parents I had hw to do they started yelling at me, because it was late but the thing is that was when my mom got home. I think that my parents enjoyed it, and I really appreciate my parents doing that with me.

One thing that happened in my book today was that Bella figured out that Jake was a ware wolf. This is really important because Jake has "crossed over to the dark side". So do you remember when I said that Sam took Embry away well now he has Jake and it turned into a very scary dude. So my prediction is that Sam has started a wolf pack club, or what ever you want to call it.

Another thing that happened today is that Bella's dad and some other people went out hunting. So that's a very terrible thing because Jake and his so called other friends are wolf's and they've been running around killing people they don't even know. So is that a bad thing if Bella's protecting Jake?

Bella is the main character. Bella is a girl with brown hair that lives in Washington in a little town called Forks. Bella has a lot of friends but two of them are being idiots because Bella did not hang around or talk to them because of the hard time she was and sort of is still going through. Also since I haven't really told you enough about Jacob I am going to tell you about him.

A lot of interesting stuff happened today in my book. Today Bella went to Edwards house that Edward USED to live in! What happened was that Edward moved/left Bella because Edward thought Edward was ruining Bella's life. But the thing is Bella loves Edward! So she went to Edward's house to just try to hear Edward's voice in her head again.

My main character is Bella. Bella is a girl that is brave,hard working,nice, and very pretty.She is actually really weird though. She came to Forks so she could see her dad Charley. Now since she's been living with him for a long time she has a lot of friends, such as: Alice.Jessie.Esme.Carlisle,Mike,Jacob and so much more that I can't even count.Oh, and guess how many boy friends she has! She has:1 and his name is Edward! The way I picture Bella is that she has beautiful brown hair,smooth skin,pretty eyes and last but not least a beautiful smile! I could imagine being like Bella it would be so awesome. The way I see it if I was Bella is that I would be funny and try to get good grades and yet I would still hang out with my boy friend. Bella is really lucky and she probably made the best choice of her life coming to Forks, because of Edward.

The best part so far in the book Twilight. Is when Edward took Bella to the meadow. Thats the best part so far because thats when Edward and Bella get to spend a romantic day together. Also thats the best part because Edward and Bella kiss!!! I think Bella and Edward were made for each other. The author makes Edward say "theres one thing I haven't tried yet" then he leans in and kisses her. Thats so romantic!
